The following are some of the many milestones throughout North American Green’s history that have had the greatest impact on our company, our customers, and the industry.

1985

• North American Green founded in Evansville, Indiana, U.S.
• Developed SureLock^® staple gun to make RECP installation easier

1987

• Began supplying products to customers in Canada

1990

• Developed Erosion Control Materials Design Software (ECMDS^®) utilizing the most advanced design procedures and laboratory and field research available

1993

• Became first company in the industry to offer a written product performance guarantee, the Ultimate Assurance Guarantee

1994

• Began supplying products to customers in Mexico
• Introduced BioNet^® Series of 100% biodegradable temporary erosion control blankets

1995

• Began supplying products to customers in Latin America
• Began supplying products to customers in Asia

1996

• Began supplying products to customers in the Middle East

1997

• Launched www.nagreen.com corporate website
• Introduced BioSTAKEs^® 100% biodegradable rigid fasteners

1999

• Opened new, 70,000-square foot manufacturing facility
• Began supplying products to customers in Europe
• Developed DOT System^® to simplify RECP installation

2001

• Introduced Vmax³_® Composite Reinforcement Series of permanent TRMs
• Launched www.vmax3.com website

2002

• Introduced SedimentSTOP^® Biodegradable Filtration System to filter sediment from stormwater runoff
• Introduced GreenSP® Soil Protection Series of golf course protection products
• Launched www.greensp.com website
• Launched www.nagreen.com/spanish website for Mexican and Latin American customers

2003

• Began offering NPDES Seminars
• Launched www.sedimentstop.com website

2004

• Acquired by Tensar International
• Released ECMDS^® Version 4.3, the most complete erosion control materials design software in the industry
• Introduced the Ultimate Assurance Guarantee, which warrants product performance to unmatched levels
• Launched www.bionetblankets.com website
• Initiated Erosion Control Specialist training program
• Added BunkerGuard^™ golf course bunker liner to GreenSP^® Soil Protection Series
• Vmax³_® P550^® drove shear resistance of vegetation up to 14 lb/ft² (672 Pa), establishing a new maximum for vegetation reinforcement
• Began participating in AASHTO’s National Transportation Product Evaluation Program for RECPs
• Introduced new positioning statement: Erosion Control Products ~ Guaranteed Solutions
• Introduced GreenPartnership Dealer Program
• Began offering products in custom-cut lengths up to 16 feet
• Introduced SureLock^® II Convertible Staple Gun with Cartridge Wire Staple and BioSTAKE^® versions; available with both manual and pneumatic drive

2005

• Trained 175th Erosion Control Specialist
• Introduced Level II Erosion Solutions Specialist training
• Became a member of the United State Green Building Council (USGBC), due to growing awareness of LEEDS Green Building Rating System
• BioNet^® 100% biodegradable erosion control blankets selected as one of the BuildingGreen 2005 Top-10 Green Building products

2006

• Launched Brown Bag Seminar Series
• Trained more than 250 Erosion Solutions Specialists, Level I & II
• Made EC Series Rapid Roller^® erosion control material roller system available to distributors
• Introduced new, lighter staple gun, the SureLock^® II C (Compact)
• Introduced Erosion Solutions Provider (ESP) distributor rewards program
• Formed Interdisciplinary Technical Services Department, including, for the first time, a Manager of Research & Development

2007

• Trained more than 325 Erosion Solutions Specialists, Level I & II
• Introduced HydraCX^2™ Extreme Slope Matrix^™, the first product in the new series of HydraMatriCx^™ High-Performance Hydraulic Erosion Control Products

2008

• Introduced HydraCM^™ Steep Slope Matrix^™ to the series of HydraMatriCx^™ High-Performance Hydraulic Erosion Control Products
