Biodegradable Erosion Control
When minimizing environmental impact and ensuring wildlife safety are vital factors in a soil stabilization, erosion control, or sediment control project, the use of biodegradable erosion control blankets is a necessity.
The number of public and private entities requiring the use of 100% biodegradable products increases each year. For instance, an agreement between the U.S. Forest Service and the Cheyenne office of the Federal Highway Administration requires that only 100% biodegradable erosion control products be used in Yellowstone National Park or near its boundary, because of prior problems caused in large part by non-biodegradable netting.
