Hydraulic Erosion Control
North American Green's hydraulic erosion control products (HECPs) are designed to control erosion and aid in vegetation establishment on a range of slope conditions. Because of their one-step hydraulic application, our HECPs can be used to offer high-performing erosion control that is a low-cost, low-labor alternative to other forms of erosion control.
Our HydraMatriCx™ Series and GeoSkin® Series are both made with a proprietary blend of straw, reclaimed cotton plant material, and tackifiers. The patent-pending blend of straw and cotton plant material assists the mulch in providing a honeycomb layer of protection over the soil to promote excellent vegetation establishment. Additionally, a patent-pending blend of additives and tackifiers combine to ease application, enhance adhesion, retain moisture and provide soil stability.
These exciting lines of products were developed in cooperation with Cotton Incorporated and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
