Adds Nutrients to the Soil
Because of its all-natural cotton component, HydraCX2 actually adds nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium to the soil. Those are important nutrients for plant growth that you’d otherwise be adding a lot of, since other hydraulically applied mulches actually take nitrogen out of the soil initially, and provide little to no phosphorous or potassium.

An ideal carbon:nitrogen ratio of 40:1 is required for proper organic matter decomposition. When mulch is used that does not have the ideal C:N ratio, plant performance suffers.
